Hope & Inspiration
for
Weathering Life’s Stormy Times
Welcome to the virtual home of Joanne Hill,
author and inspirational speaker -- and a seeker of rainbow blessings in
life experiences.
Scientifically we can explain rainbows -- create them with crystal prisms
and in soap bubbles. Finding a rainbow in the sky after a storm is thrilling,
bordering on miraculous. After a storm we scan the sky. Somewhere out
there a rainbow glistens. If we look, we might be blessed with its beauty.
Finding rainbows in life experiences is an incredible gift as well. During
my lifetime, I've weathered chronic illness, tragedy and many losses that
threatened to break my spirit, but through it all, God taught me how to
rejoice in the midst of trials and appreciate the beauty and wonder of
small miracles, and I've written
about this in my book.
Drawing on my experience, I've outlined seven rainbow
remedies that increase the odds of finding beauty in lifes stormy
times. These rainbows manifest themselves in various forms: unexpected
positive changes in relationships, freedom from the pain of grief and
loneliness, daily moments of joy. I call them Golden
Nuggets, and I want to share some of mine with you, especially if
you are in need of encouragement or inspiration.
Explore and enjoy!

Golden Nuggets
Golden Nuggets are those moments in life when something happens
when you just know God is real. Some people call them God-incidents,
those moments when we feel that what happened was more than just
a coincidence, for what occurred might seem nearly impossible.

Crafter's Link
For a number of years I wrote articles on marketing of handmade
crafts. Some of these articles appeared in Crafters
Link Newsletter, and some in Crafting for Cash,"
a weekly newspaper column. I shall be updating the information and
adding it to this web site. The first article is

Memoirs
Writing our memoirs can be a life-enhancing experience. Helping
an elder do one is even more exciting. In my Memoir Writing Workshops
I share what Ive learned about writing and publishing, and
the participants share their stories. In this section, I will be
sharing tidbits from the workshops and invite you to share some
of your stories and ideas. Through this sharing, we learn about
life and about writing. See Sharing Memories
Guidelines for submitting your story. See Memoirs
for stories. |
